Misty

Misty is a good natured puppy. She is a playful, happy puppy
who loves to play rough and tumble with other dogs.
Misty is happy to play but loves to spend time with her people, she is happy to sit by your chair , next to you, or on the couch beside you. Relaxing is Misty's speciality, she loves to be inside, along side her human friends. Misty travels well in the car, and loves going out and about to markets and cafes. She is calm around dogs and in busy market settings, she can sit quietly while you snack at a cafe.
Training:
Misty walks well on lead, knows how to sit, drop, and is learning to wait. She will recall at home but has not been tested off lead outside the property. She uses the doggie door and loves various types of toys. Misty is happy inside with her human friends but also loves to have a run outside with her fur family and foster sister.
Misty is clever and mischievous she has self taught herself how to use door handles to open doors, get through bird netting to eat the fruit, and she likes to find abandoned shoes and sock for her chewing delight. Misty will need obedience training and activities and brain games to keep her occupied. She is fine being left while her humans are working but needs another dog to help keep her occupied and out of mischief. Consecutive days of being left for long periods may see her getting bored.

- You can see in a couple of photos how Misty likes to sleep on your feet or lap, she likes to be touching you and near you. Rumour has it, it's because then she will know you have gotten up and can then follow you.
- In a couple of photos and in a video you can see how much she love the other foster dog in the home. She just loves to sleep near him and play with him.

Home requirements:

- No small children due to her size, she may bump into them and knock them over.
- Another playful desexed male dog (not a puppy or senior).
- Misty needs a reasonable sized yard to run and stretch her legs in and to play with other fur friends
- She needs humans that have the time to love and attend to her needs. She is a very loving puppy who will make someone a great companion.
- she likes to spend time inside with her people and to sleep inside of a night.
-She is crate trained, will sleep in your room or even on the bed if you let her.

Food:
Misty tends to gulp her food. We have brought a raised bowl stand. We have tried slow feeding bowls and she still gulps her food. If water is added to food she tends to go slower.
