Homeless pets snuggle up with $31,458 worth of free blankets!
Is there anything more adorable than seeing rescue pets all warm and snuggled up? We didn’t think so!
Thanks to PetRescue partner Mars Petcare and MyDog, PetRescue coordinated a massive 2,247 blankets to be delivered to PetRescue member groups and other community organisations.
The community came together to help people and pets in need. That's a lot of warm hearts and warm pets. 💚
The following organisations received donations:
The blankets received by Angels Rescue were relief donations for their rescue and the community in Queensland's Western Downs who were impacted by the recent bushfires.
“Thank you so much. I sent one box out to the fires, and we are giving the other box to the homeless groups where pets are living in cars.”

The kind folks at RSPCA QLD shared their blanket donation with their community via their Community Outreach Days in Townsville, which is a new region for this program. Their wonderful People and Pets program reaches out to folks in need of support in the area and helps them get through a difficult period to keep people and pets together.

Such an incredibly generous quantity too! Thank you so much for supporting us. We have a clinic this Sunday so will be able to start distributing and over the months ahead as the weather cools off.
