The Pound Rescue team with two-legged and four-legged attendees!

We recently came together with FRONTLINE Pet Care to roll out a nation-wide campaign which saw the donation of 21,000 bottles of pet shampoo to our member rescue groups. As part of this campaign, FRONTLINE hosted an event with rescue pets in attendance, in an effort to draw attention towards the joys of saving a life!

The event attracted a whole lot of attention from media and influencers who used the event as the perfect excuse to lap up snuggles and slobbery kisses while promoting rescue and adoption…

If there was anyone you would have wanted to trade places with at this event, it was without a doubt the four-legged attendees who received celebrity-grade pampering with FRONTLINE Pet Care. The doggos had heaps of foamy fun and were ready to seize the day with their freshly groomed coats!

The above photo is proof enough that it just takes one adorable doggo to stop the whole damn show! We don’t really know if there was much reporting done, it all just looked like one big cuddle party really.

Vix cheered on our member rescue groups Greyhound Rescue and Pound Rescue as they promoted their amazing work and their adoptable rescue pets! She also spoke with the media about our collaboration with FRONTLINE and the difference their support makes to rescue organisations and the rescue pets in their care.

Our member rescue groups promoted their work

Two PetRescue member groups, Greyhound Rescue and Pound Rescue had the opportunity to participate in the event, talk about all the amazing work they do with the media, and most importantly give their accompanying rescue dogs the star treatment they deserve! These groups have been a shining example in the rescue community for all the fabulous work they do for rescue pets and for always putting adoption on a pedestal.
