Did you know dogs have three eyelids?
A dog’s third eyelid (also called a nictitating membrane) is usually hidden, and you might only be able to see a small portion of it. Although it doesn’t always make an appearance, if you look close enough you can see a small triangular segment of the third eyelid in the inner corner of their eyes. The colour of this eyelid can vary depending on the dog’s breed and can be either clear or cloudy. 👁
