About Animal Welfare League NSW - Eastern Suburbs Branch
Animal Welfare League NSW (AWL NSW) is a registered charity that has been operating for over 60 years. We provide expert care to surrendered, neglected and abandoned companion animals across New South Wales.
We believe that all companion animals in NSW deserve a safe and loving home. We strive to accomplish this through our work in rehoming, education and discount desexing programs. Our inspectors are authorised to investigate allegations of animal cruelty and we make it easy for anyone to report animal cruelty.
As part of our ‘Getting to Zero’ philosophy we are committed to achieving zero euthanasia of healthy and treatable cats and dogs. Our pets available for adoption have passed their medical and behavioural assessments and are ready for the second chance they deserve. All AWL NSW animals are desexed, microchipped, health checked, vaccinated, wormed and flea treated.
