Alphie, the Workplace foster, and his super-cute high-vis vest

This cute little snoot belongs to Alphie, from Gumtree Greys, who had the time of his life at the Alphington Level Crossing Upgrade as part of PetRescue’s Workplace Foster Care Program.

Alphie was issued with his very own photo ID card, and super-cute hi-viz vest, so he could help the Level Crossing Removal Authority and Laing O'Rourke teams oversee construction works. He has also visited the local disability centre, and even met the State Premier - no wonder he kept falling asleep on the job!

Alphie handed in his resignation and headed to his forever home in November this year. A big thanks to all those who helped to walk/pat/sneak Alphie their lunch, and to Gumtree Greys for being involved in another successful Workplace Foster adoption!
