Adoption Process

Thank you for your interest in adopting a Neapolitan Mastiff. Below is the process that you will need to follow in order to adopt a Neapolitan Mastiff through our program. Please read the process carefully, and follow it completely. If you do not follow the process, the processing of your application will be slowed-down considerably.

Application Required By All

Please note that an adoptive home cannot be considered for adoption until a family profile is completed and submitted to the NeoRescue Inc. Program for review and consideration.

Adoption Donation

The adoption donation for NeoRescue Inc. dogs 1 years old and under is $350.00. For dogs between 1 and 5 years old the adoption donation is $300.00. For dogs over 5 years, the adoption donation will be $200.00.

Adoption Process

1. Submit family profile using our on-line Family Profile form. Please note on the form which dog you are interested in if you already know which dog you are interested in.
2. Contact the volunteer listed as the foster for the dog you are interested in to express your interest. Please note that contacting a rescue volunteer is something you are doing in addition to completing the on-line Family Profile.
3. One or more rescue volunteers will contact you via telephone to review your application with you, and ask any questions we may have about your Family Profile. If you do not hear from a rescue volunteer within one week of submitting your application, please e-mail the Webmaster a friendly reminder.
4. A home visit will be scheduled - After reviewing your Family Profile and agreeing with you that your home is still an adoption candidate, a representative of our rescue program will schedule a home visit with you. A home visit is a visit to your home by a representative of our rescue program to see where the dog will live to make sure that a proper loving environment will be provided to our dog-in-need.We will also want to see your interaction with the other animals in your house or, with the dog our representative brings with them for your home visit.
5. Upon a successful home visit, you will then be eligible to adopt a loving Neapolitan Mastiff who will give you and your family undying love and devotion!
