Finding a pet and accessing pet owner services became easier with PetRescue’s new and extensive navigation menu!

PetRescue's homepage mega menu allows adopters to directly access senior pets, bonded pets, foster pets and vital resources.

How this little change is helping lots of pets 

The new menu has helped shine the spotlight on pets that take longer to find homes. Adopters can now directly access senior pets, bonded pets, and pets looking for foster care. They can also easily find adoption tips to help them navigate their adoption journey. 

All pets get the spotlight on PetRescue's homepage and a better chance at finding loving homes.

Increased visibility for more pets

The new menu makes it easier for adopters to find those pets that might otherwise only be accessible using “search filters”. Now they stand out, loud and proud!

In fact, since these new changes were made, adopter traffic to the “Senior” pet pages almost tripled with a 167% increase! This is great news for all the old souls listed on PetRescue, as they get an equal opportunity to find loving homes. Similarly, the “bonded pet” search page (i.e. pets that have to be adopted together) saw a 117% increase in adopters looking for them! Amazing!

More pets in safe homes 

The new menu is helping owned pets and pet owners too! 

Advice and resources for pet owners can now be found easily and quickly. Including access to crisis care or support via PetRescue’s assisted rehoming program, Home2Home, pets are kept safe and in homes, rather than being surrendered - which is a win for everyone!
