About Winterberry & E’scar
Hello! We are Winter and Eskie (Winterberry & E’scar on the paperwork).
We originally came to The Rabbit Sanctuary with our babies but then we went to live with humans in Canberra last year. Apparently these humans have to move to a place called “overseas” and just like the room with the spicy hay- we aren’t allowed to go there! So we are looking for another place to live. Can you help us?
We love hanging out in the garden when it’s sunny and eating grass and pear sticks. But inside is good too- especially when we get to to zoomies around the couch, or when we can snooze by the window in the sun.
We are happy to live with small humans and love it when they read to us and give us pats.
We love lots of head scratches!
We always use our litter box and have never taken any bites out of the furniture. We love playing with our puzzles and the forage box for pellets. Pellets are great! When you call us by our names we know to come to you.
Our vet has said we are in perfect health, and we have had our vaccines recently. We are around 3 years old. According to the humans we are “large Dutch bunnies” - Winter is the slightly larger and darker grey, while Eskie is has lighter grey but fluffier fur. We are desexed and microchipped.

APPLY TO ADOPT A RABBIT ON: www.rabbitsanctuary.com.au/adopt
Our rabbits come desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and vet checked. They are available for a donation for your choice over $265 or $365 for a pair.
100% forever return guarantee.
We only adopt to indoor homes in playpen/free range set ups so that our rabbits become part of your family with plenty of interaction. This also protects them from the heat and cold which rabbits are susceptible to and the viruses outdoors released to eliminate the wild rabbit population.
Please check out our website www.rabbitsanctuary.com.au to see all our bunnies available and to fill in an application form. You must provide a photo of your set up including a playpen, litter tray, hay rack, hidey house, fabric tunnel.
When your application is approved you can choose any of our available rabbits.
