About George
George is loving and affectionate and enjoys cuddles with his humans and is great with children and all the dogs he has met. We think George is Bullmastiff X, and is still just a big puppy currently weighing 35kg.
In his foster home George is living as an inside/outside dog and is toilet trained. He is quick to learn, food motivated, easy to train and can sit, lay down, stay and roll over. George is very good on lead, and off lead and answers to his name. He LOVES playing at the beach in water, playing with a ball and other dogs.
This gorgeous big pup loves company and would suit a home with another young energetic dog and a family who are not out of the house all day, but come and go. He wants a home where he will live inside/outside, join in family life and activities and where his humans are committed to his ongoing socialisation and training; children 5 years and up would be fine.
His new home must have good 6ft fencing as George can jump over fencing to go out and find company. He's a social boy and loves being with other dogs and with people. George cannot be rehomed with cats or other small mammals.
If you would like to meet George he would love to hear from you :) All our dogs have a two week trial period in their new home.
Adoption details
If you are interested in meeting one of our animals we would love to hear from you.
Please submit an enquiry via Pet Rescue rather than emailing us.
In your enquiry please include:
* your location (where you live) and phone number,
* a brief description of the family home - number of adults and children in the home
* identify any other animals in the home
* how long the dog or cat would be left on its own each day
* your previous experience with dogs (or cats if your enquiry is about a cat)
* the type of fencing you have and whether your fencing is secure
* anything else you think may be relevant.
We try and answer all enquiries asap but are all volunteers, so we thank you for your patience.
If an animal is adopted inter-state we can help organise transport . The cost of transport is paid by the adopting family.
All our animals are desexed, vaccinated, wormed and microchipped. Our adoption fee covers our basic costs.
