Barry

Barry’s personality:
Barry is described by our volunteer cat team as a wise old soul. He is so loving, affectionate and cannot get enough cheek and neck scratches! It is for this reason, that he has stolen many hearts already in his time at Sweet Pea. He has gorgeous soft fur and aqua eyes that will look right into your soul - this handsome man definitely has the world all figured out.

Barry’s ideal forever home:
Barry’s ideal home would be one that includes his sister Minnie. They have lived together for a long time and we cannot bear to see them seperated. We are unsure if they have ever lived with dogs, but feel that they are better suited to a home witout them. As with all of our rescue cats, he must be kept indoors only.

Barry’s story:
Barry was dumped alongside his sister Minnie, outside the back door of Sweet Pea Animal Hospital during the middle of the day. Their previous owner was able to be identified and they were eventually officially surrendered to us. Both Barry and Minnie have settled in well considering the circumstances in which they ended up here and have really come out of their shells - their personalities are now shining!

Barry is a Persian X with beautiful long fur that he is more than happy to let you pat for hours on end! Considering the drastic changes he has been through lately, Barry has settled in well to his new life but is now more than ready to find his forever home. This smoochy boy will make his new family extremely happy.
