About Vance
This is young Vance,a 13 mth old Rhodesian Ridgeback cross. He and his siblings came to HPH when they were tiny pups. His siblings were adopted. Vance has grown up here and has become a responsive, energetic , playful interactive young fellow. His yard is shared with quite a few dogs of all types and temperaments and Vance loves their company. Being a sturdy lad his play can be a bit bossy and rough sometimes but there is no malice in it. In fact he is not dog reactive at all even when meeting a new dog who shows signs of not liking him. This cool dude remains calm , preferring to turn side on and not engage rather than reacting. He was adopted before but the other dog took a dislike to him. Vance simply behaved beautifully. If Vance appeals to you, arrange to meet him. And we can set up a meet and greet if you have another pet. We will let Vance know that you are on your way!!
Adoption details
HappyPaws Haven is fussy about who adopts these animals and where they are housed and cared for. The adoption criteria is documented as a questionnaire and strictly adhered to. We do not adopt animals to people who rent unless they are long term rental at the same address and have landlords written permission.
We ask if they have thought about the attributes they want in a dog, lifestyle, childrens ages, prepared to train, etc. We also talk about responsible pet ownership, fully fenced yards, hours unattended etc. and finally a vet reference.
