Blaze

Dear old Blaze, is a private assisted adoption who ended up being surrendered to us, due to her family becoming homeless. We had Blaze in boarding kennels initially.

She is now very happy in her short term foster home, but sadly there are too many steps for Blaze to climb to the first floor apartment, this will have to be a consideration when finding blaze a forever home with minimal steps, so that her joints will not  suffer.

Blaze has seen  our holistic vet, and the advice is that after being with her previous family for 8 years she is now anxious of what's going to happen to her. She has recommended joint supplements and a diet of meaty bones to help her recover and lose some excess weight.

Blaze is a very affectionate, loving dog - she just wants to be as close as she can to her carer. Cuddling up to you, playing, working on her tan, eating and of course a couple of nice short walk, are some her favorite things to do.

Having her humans attention is a must for Blaze, so an owner who is home more often than not would be perfect. She is used to being an inside/outside pet, she would be happiest if this would be acceptable in her new home and copes with being left for short periods.

Although she loves her human friends, Blaze needs to be an only pet, whilst being in boarding kennels her reactivity has become more manageable.

Blaze is toilet trained and can  live in an apartment with minimal stairs.
