Shiraz

Hi there, I’m Shiraz! Like my name suggests, I’m smooth, elegant and a little bit irresistible. I also love my toys – I’d be so happy to enjoy some playtime with you!

I have a special place in everyone’s heart here at Greysland. I’m at my absolute happiest when zooming around in the sensory gardens, chasing a ball around or in summer, lounging the afternoon away in the splash pool.

Outside of that though, I’m a sensitive and nervous boy who doesn’t really know much about life in a home. I’m looking for a foster home with some very patient humans who have experience helping dogs like me and can give me as much time and space as I need to feel comfortable. I had a go at living in the city, but all the sights and sounds were a bit overwhelming for me, and I got quite scared by all the busy areas. So if you have a home in the suburbs with a backyard where I can spend time when I don’t really feel like facing the world, that would be just perfect for me.

Our matchmakers go to greyt lengths to match each hound with the right family to make sure everyone's happy, and you'll become part of a wonderful rescue community with lots of support along the way!

All hounds are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated, and heartworm tested/treated. The adoption fee also includes our New Adopter Kit - collar, leash, muzzle and loads of other goodies to help you get your new hound settled into the family.
