About Ace
Are you wanting a gentle companion Shepherd who will sit quietly beside you and go for daily walks then consider our boy Ace.
This stock coated black and sable German Shepherd was a very much loved family member who knows his manners and loves the company of his humans. Currently in care at Moorebank is desexed and fully immunised and is in good health.
Ace has lived with young children and is gentle and he also shared his home with elderly grandparents and he was very respectful around them.
Ace completed Puppy School with flying colours and then followed this up with further adult dog training lessons to ensure he walks well on lead. He has been introduced to other dogs and shows the usual excitement and interest.
Ace travels well in a motor vehicle and loves just hanging out with his human family whether it be young dog savvy children or a retired couple, as long as Ace can be close to them. Ace is house trained and loves snuggling around in the garden.
Ace is best as an only dog, and is not suitable to go to a home with cats or pocket pets.
For more information on Ace please contact us selecting "Enquire about Ace".
Medical notes
Ace is in excellent health and is fully immunised, desexed and on heart worm prevention and flea control. Ace comes with his own bed and toys, bowls etc.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
