About Ollie
Ollie (Jack Russell Terrier x Pug) has come from an older couple who weren't able to put in the early training for him to be well a well behaved adult. Don't get me wrong, he is absolutly adorable and heaps of fun, however for a well rounded doggy family he will require some education in the manners area. We have started crate training, but as he has always lived outdoors, his manners at liberty indoors need attention. We would be seeking a home for him that would have a large yard for outdoor excercise, but would be willing to continue his education to become a family member who is welcome indoors too. He does jump with the sheer excitment of living at times and as he is quite a solid little man he is are not suitable for a family with small humans. He loves a walk and after some initial pulling will settle down and walk quite well. Ollie loves to run and can run several kms in a day so a largish , safe yard is a must! A daily walk/ run will keep him mentally stimulated and physically fit. He does like the sound of his own voice - yep...news flash, dogs bark!! Ollie is seeking an experienced doggy home with a fantastic sense of humour coupled with a serious committment to further his growth to be the best that he can be. Ollie would be ok on his own as long as his people weren't gone for long periods, or he may well like a small chill female doggy companion. Ollie has been known to guard his toys so that will need managing. Male dog companions unfortunately will not be considered.
Medical notes
Ollie has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, and flea and worm treated. He has been documented as having the odd seizure. These have only been observed at the rate of one every 2 - 3 months. These will need to be monitered and more information will be given to the potential families. Our vet has cleared him for adioption.
