Thanks for checking out my page! Let me introduce myself.....

My name is Izzy (yes I've had a name change! I decided that this suited me better than Stevie), and I'm a lovely older lady with lots of energy still left in me yet! I love the wind in my hair whilst riding in the car, I can happily sit at your feet for hours and get pats, scratches and tummy rubs but I'll grunt at you as soon as you stop, so I'd love someone to give me as much love as I'll give them. I'm fully toilet trained, and well behaved inside the home and adore children.

I've put on some COVID weight, but who hasn't? I'm working on my Summer body and have a few kilos left to lose. I'm not really food obsessed, but now my nails have had a good trim, I've been able to go for lots of short walks with my foster parents and dropped a few kilos already....so with a strict diet and continued exercise, I'm sure I can manage a few more!

I'm a little picky with my canine friends.... I tend to like the submissive dogs and the ones that are a bit bigger than myself but do think I would be better as an only dog. I walk really well on the lead, I don't need a huge walk and will let you know when I start getting tired. I love to sniff whilst on a walk. If I find something interesting, I do like to use to my strength to go towards it, so I need someone strong to walk with me. My foster mum says that I'm fairly easy to walk though and not reactive towards other dogs when out and about....cats on the other hand....I don't like them!

I visited the Vet the other week....he mentioned if I keep working towards my summer body I won't have as many issues with my hips & legs. Also, being a white dog who loves to sunbake, I need sunscreen applied daily (especially my belly) and some time inside, with regular check ups on some spots that have appeared.

I love my people, and all my new neighbours come and say hello to me each day which I love! As I'm settling in to your house, I may be a bit talkative to the neighbourhood as I get used to all the new noises, and can get bored if left home alone for too long, so a home where you are there more often than not would be best.

So what am I looking for? A family who will love me unconditionally....allow me to live both inside and outside as part of the family....a strong and capable person to walk all 51kg of me and take me for car rides.....someone who doesn't mind listening to me snore......and a home where I'll enjoy the company and attention from my people. I won't cope well if I was to be left at home all day on my own, so unfortunately, if you work full time hours, I'm not the girl for you. Oh, and as I mentioned previously, I would be better suited as your one and only 😜
