About Bruce & Dougie
Welcome to Dougie and Bruce's Recreation Camp. Check-in time - now, check out time - NEVER.
About your fun-structors:
Dougie - When Dougie was born, rainbow unicorns flew down from the sky to sing for her. Ok, we can't confirm this, but when you see Dougie's sweet face and cuddly personality, this isn't that hard to imagine.
She'll make sure you have a gala time when you're out and about and keep you on your feet. Because you're always her first priority, she might be a bit more protective around other dogs.
Bruce - If there's a guy you can count on for anything, it's Bruce. Who do you think Bruce Almighty was based on? Bruce takes it upon himself to ensure that you're safe and sound at all times and that you have nothing but a blast during all your activities.
He's very intelligent, so get creative with your hiding spots when you play hide 'n' seek with him. Bruce is extremely loyal and will always be beside you. He likes to stay in shape to be the best safety officer there is, so make sure you carve out enough exercise time for him! In return for organising and managing all the fun, he might try to steal a few sloppy kisses from you and occasionally lick your face... which sounds like a reasonable trade-off.
Dougie and Bruce are good with other dogs and kids 12 and over and are happy to guard the house solo while you're at work!
You can sign up for this camp if you're an active human who enjoys spending time outdoors and various sporty and fun activities.
This pair is sporty, adventurous and needs to be included in all family fun. They'd like a nice yard to play in and are likely to wander off if there's an open gate but won't try to escape otherwise (because they love their humans way too much).
Make sure you sign up for a lifetime of love, cuddles, sports and escapades with this duo!

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS (simple and easy)
1. Read the dog's detailed profile thoroughly - for you to self screen
2. The Expression of Interest (EOI) form MUST be completed prior to a meet and greet.
https://www.dogadoption.org.au/expression-of-interest---adoption.html
3. Speak to the carer/owner directly for more detailed info to determine if there are any 'deal breakers' - designed to save time and avoid falsely raising hopes.
4. 'Meet & Greet' - you travel to where the dog is. If you have a current dog it must meet too. We strongly recommend all members of the family attend. Both parties may wish to report their thoughts to each other but MUST update Dog Adoption directly too.
5. The dog MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGEMENTS have been made e.g. travelling more then 2 hrs round trip. In this case we need a minimum of 2 days notice. The adoption agreement and payment must be made before collection of the dog.
6. Normally, both parties have a think about the meeting, and if they wish to proceed, the adoption is completed after the adoption agreement, payment and screening is finalised.
7. A 2 week cooling off period commences once the dog arrives.

Folks who complete EOIs have a higher priority then general enquiries - due to a lack of resources. Your info is protected under Privacy Legislation.
