About Snaffles ~ 2yo Greyhound (on trial 5/8/19)
Hallo, me Snaffles. I'm a 2yo Greyhound. Some words that my foster parents use to describe me are: cheeky, wacky, spunky, smart, cuddly, sociable, courageous, fun, snoozy, athletic, clever, hilarious, interactive, adaptable. WOW, how amazing am I?
I'm also a legend at puzzle toys, which keeps me out of trouble. I will do anything for food. Including sit, which I'm told is hard for a Greyhound to do, not for me. If you have a nasty water dragon "hose" I will be your protection.
Oh, I also have only 3 legs, no biggie. I'm very adaptable. You will be amazed at how I get around, nothing really stops me. I'm not hard to live with once you learn all the little tricks that makes my life easier. However I will need a home that is tripaw friendly. Slippy floors will need a rug or two and not too many stairs. My foster parents will teach you.
I like to be in the thick of things, and I'm always up for a car ride, adventure or a game. I love playing soccer.
I'm a bit uncertain of little kids. They look like so much fun and I so want to play, however I find them a bit scary. I'm currently working towards being OK around them. I've received 3 pats so far. I adore teenagers and grown ups. I'm really good with dogs of all sizes and love playing chasies. I will need a best buddy in my new home.
I've learnt that pussy cats need respect, so with training I could live with a cat. I probably wouldn't be good with pocket pets.
I haven't spent much time outside without humans. That's OK, as I am completely toilet trained and can stay inside for up to 6hrs.
My ideal home would be:
* A family without small children, however teenagers (aged 13+) should be ok
* Someone who has flexible work hours, works from home, or can take me to work
* Another compatible dog to keep me company
* Someone willing to look after a tripaw
* Continue my training with kids and similar works in progress
