About JB
My name is JB. I'm a very happy and sweet Shar-Pei cross with a lot of love to give. I'm still fairly young and love to run zoomies in the back yard and play with my foster sister. Most of my energy comes out in the afternoon and I spend the rest of the day sleeping or exploring the yard quietly. Secure fences are a must for me because I have been known to run off when given the chance.
I love other dogs but can get a bit too excited for my foster sisters as they're used to a quieter lifestyle, but I'm very charming so I always manage to get the younger one to play with me. I haven't met any cats yet so I'm not sure how I would react if I saw one but I love children! My energy might a bit too much for smaller children so I would be happier in a house with older children or adults only, and of course other dogs who love to play.
I've mastered lots of commands at my foster home including sit, off, down, on your bed and also to wait for my dinner. I'm also toilet-trained and can use a doggy door. I'm very good at bedtime and happily curl up on my bed in the lounge room but I have been known to sneak up onto the couch once my foster mum is in bed. I am a fast learner but I'm also very cheeky so I don't always listen; just keep trying and I will get there.
I would love to find a family who enjoys long walks and cuddles during the quieter times and who are willing to keep teaching me my manners and possibly some tricks. I'd love a dog buddy but it's not necessary if someone is home a lot of the time.
