Hey hey hello! My name's Zarah, it's lovely to meet you.

I'm a very sweet, easy going girl who found myself here at the shelter through no fault of my own. And now I'm looking for a loving family to be my forever home. During my stay in care I've gone through a lot of veterinary care to help me see better, but I still have quite limited vision. For this reason I'd love it if you can speak to me before and while interacting with me! That way I won't get a fright if you happen to startle me. That being said, I'm a pretty hardy girl and I don't really get surprised even when I bump into things!

In my ideal home I would be the only dog. I don't particularly care for other dogs you see, I'm more than happy to walk on by and ignore them. I haven't really shown any interest in interacting with other dogs. But hey, that just means I can get all your love and attention to myself! I'll be your only furbaby!

If you have any human babies, or children, please bring them along when you come to meet me so I can say hello and get to know them. Due to my reduced vision I'd like to go to a home with children that will be able to understand this, and know not to surprise me.
