About Barbra Stray-sand
Introducing Barbra Stray-sand, affectionately known as Babs! Just like her namesake, our Babs is a star in her own right, bringing warmth and charm wherever she goes. Babs is a delightful companion with a heart of gold. Like any true diva she may be a bit reserved at first, but once she gets to know you, she's incredibly affectionate and will melt your heart with her cuddles and purrs.
Babs enjoys the simple pleasures in life. Some of her favourite activities include observing the world from a comfy spot on the fence, playing with pretend mice toys, exploring cardboard boxes. She also enjoys a good neck rub, a thorough brushing, and sleeping smugly on her human's bed—preferably after a good meal.
Despite being adventurous, Babs gets a little timid around strangers and tends to shy away from loud noises. She expresses her love through gentle leg rubs, rolling around playfully, and adorable meows that sound like her version of a "hello". It is quite endearing when she asks for permission to snuggle up on the bed, usually at her human's feet—it's almost as if she's saying, "Is it cuddle time yet?"
One delightful quirk of hers that never fails to elicit a smile is when she gets the "zoomies"—those random bursts of energy where she dashes around the house like lightning. Her happiness is most evident when her loved ones come home, or when she spots a lizard she can play with.
Well-trained in using a clean litter box, Babs maintains impeccable hygiene and carries no specific allergies or sensitivities. She loves both wet and dry food.
Babs would make an excellent addition to a calm household with owners who are home more often than not to spend time with her. She'd be perfect for both young and senior owners who don't have any resident cats or dogs. She particularly enjoys outdoor access, so a secure yard would be a plus, as she loves to explore her surroundings.
In essence, Babs is not just a beautiful cat; she's a loving companion waiting to bring joy and laughter into your home. She's quirky, personable, and will be your most precious friend whom you greet as delightfully — each time as if it's the first.
If you're interested in welcoming Babs into your family, please don't hesitate to reach out. She can't wait to meet her forever family and shower them with love and cuddles.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
Home2Home currently operates a pay-what-you-can system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose the adoption fee amount that is most suitable for their situation. The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Following adoption - change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on listing) will be provided.
