Looking for a FOSTER or a Foster With A View to Adopt for this absolute sweetheart "ROCKY" - approx. 8 months old Staffie-X
📍Melbourne South East Suburbs preferred.

Sadly, ROCKY was dumped at a rural NSW pound very underweight and scared! The pound helped him to gain weight and come out of his shell but he has had no interest so far and unfortunately his time is up as their facility is overflowing!

Thanks to donation from SavourLife and Petbarn , we will be able to bring ROCKY in to our care so he can find his perfect family that will never let him down again!🙏

This is what the pound had to say about ROCKY:
“This sweet boy is Rocky. He has been waiting a long time for a new home. He is here at no fault of his own. He hasn't got a bad bone in him. He has been used to assess other dogs temperaments and EVERY DOG LOVES HIM. He is a bundle of fun. He is the happiest and sweetest boy who loves cuddles and belly rubs.”

That is all we really know about ROCKY so you will need to be prepared to:
✅️Work on ROCKY’s house and toilet training
✅️Provide indoor access with access to outdoor for toileting
✅️Provide secure, puppy proof fencing!
✅️Teach ROCKY basic obedience, and leash walking
✅️Crate train (highly recommended)
✅️Take ROCKY on adventures out and about in the car, cafes etc to expose Rocky to all the good things in life
✅️Another calm, well balanced dog would be a perfect friend for ROCKY as he is 100% dog friendly!
❌️NO CATS (unless you have experience and ability to safely separate) as we don't know anything about ROCKY's interactions with cats at this stage.
👉️Must be able to drive ROCKY to our partner vet in Malvern East or Sandringham or Cheltenham.
👉A family who is home enough to help ROCKY adjust to his new life after so many changes at a young age. It's best if ROCKY is not left on his own all day while his family is working as he is still a young lad!
👉READY to foster ROCKY from Friday 2nd Mar (TBC).
