Trixie

Looking for a dog with a personality? Trixie is a tiny terrier with a big personality and she certainly doesn’t know she 10 years old! She is looking for a home with someone experienced with terrier breeds. 

She's great with other dogs and would be happiest with a relaxed companion, but no puppies, herding breeds or pushy types, please. 

Trixie isn't suitable for homes with small pets, but she'd be content as the only dog if her person is home more often than not.

Trixie is a well-mannered girl who is not destructive and is fully toilet trained. While she can get a bit mouthy when playing, she'd do best in a home with high school-aged kids who understand her energetic nature. Trixie enjoys a walk and a sniff and loves playing tug with the humans. 

One of Trixie's favorite things is car rides, so if you're looking for a companion on your travels, she's your girl! 

She also has a quirky habit of sucking on blankets, to soothe herself, which is harmless and endearing. While she can't be off-lead due to her strong nose, Trixie knows her name and has good manners on walks.

Trixie is incredibly affectionate, although she's not a lap dog. She's independent but loves to follow you around and sit by your side. She's settled in beautifully with her carer, showing no signs of escape attempts or destructive behaviour. She's even taken a liking to a soft toy! On walks, she's manageable and not too strong, enjoying a leisurely stroll with sniff stops.
