About Queenie
Queenie is a very sweet and loving British bulldog. Queenie can be quite timid when getting to know you but as soon as she does you cannot convince her your lap is not her 24 hour spot. She is just a darling.
She gets along very well with other dogs and people. She doesn’t like small children - she is afraid of them and can be snappy. She is not at all suitable for children under 10.
Medical notes
Queenie has been desexed and had 5/5 boas surgery completed.
She is a brachycephalic breed. All suffer from BOAS in some way, either minor or severe. They are always at risk of boas ( brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome)becoming clinical- creating difficulty breathing. We expect you to have a complete understanding of the condition and discuss the potential surgical, environmental and medical modifications you may have to do for this condition with your vet before you apply for this dog. It is also a excellent idea to take advantage of the trial period to have your vet check over the dog and give you more pointers on this breed related issue and the expectations for their care and management.
