About Willow (and Stormi)
Bonded pair of sweethearts 💕
Willow and Stormi have been so well loved however due to their owner falling on hard times, they’re unfortunately seeking a new home.
WILLOW PROFILE
Maltese x Mini Foxy (White with brown spots)
Age: 6yo
Female
Comes when called, can sit, is lead trained.
Great with kids (all ages,) cats & other dogs.
Willow is the boss & the brains of the two. She is incredibly relaxed most of the time, and loves pats & cuddles. She loves to play fetch until she gets tired, then no one gets the toy! She is wonderful with all other pets, and is great on the lead when walking. She can get anxious if left alone for long periods, and especially with storms.
STORMI PROFILE
Mini Foxy x Jack Russell (Black Black with white spots)
Age: 4yo
Female
Toilet trained
Comes when called, can sit, is lead trained.
Great with kids (all ages,) cats & other dogs.
Stormi is the cruisier one, and will happily follow Willow’s lead. She loves a cuddle (and a lick) and will always be by your side. She’d rather play fetch all day, then go on a walk. She takes a little longer to warm up to other dogs, but happily plays once she can tell they’re not a threat! She does have small dog syndrome and barks at people when coming to the door, but as soon as they’re at the door her tail is wagging and she’s straight in for pats.
From their owner;
“They’re each other’s best friend. You can tell they’re in love, they play & fight just like siblings do. Our dogs are so loved, but due to a few reasons (at no fault of the doggos) we’ve had to make the very tough & long debated decision to re-home them, so someone can give them the love & the life that they truly deserve.
They would be suited to, and make any family, or couple very happy. They are little so make great indoor dogs, and love their beauty sleep and snuggles, but they are also playful and love their time outside.”
Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need-Brisbane website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. Our emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
Please note all our cats are indoor cats only.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
