About Oggy and Nova
Introducing Oggy and Nova, a bonded pair of Occicat x Abyssinian brothers, orphans rescued at around 5 weeks old.
Oggy is our shy boy who can take some time to come out of his shell. But when he does you will find he is the most loving and affectionate little man you could get. He loves to do 'head bonks' on your own head to show his love and loves his belly scratches too. He loves his people but will show it in his own way and when he is ready. He absolutely adores his brother, who often helps and reassures him everything is okay.
Nova is the courageous, adventurous and energetic one of the pair. He absolutely loves his food and will tell you when it's time to eat with his singing. Nova loves to zoom, whether that be after a poop or dinner. He even gets Oggy going too. Nova loves to play and would probably play all day if you let him.
The pair are indoor only cats and usually do everything together. They love heights so they can see everything going on around them and love to sit on windowsills to watch the world go by.
They are amazing and also very tolerable with our now 1 year old. They're untested with dogs and would be best in a household with no other pets.
The only reason my family of three is having to find a new home for the boys is because we will have a newborn in June. They deserve the very best lives and unfortunately with two babies we believe their fun/playing/bonding needs may fall to the wayside.
You're guaranteed to meet Nova on your first try but Oggy will decide if he will come out and say hello too. We'd love for you to consider our bonded brothers to join your family. They must be rehomed together due to their bonded nature.
Oggy & Nova will come with all of their own things including huge cat tower, their wicker sleep baskets, all their toys, beds, blankets, litter trays plus litter, bowls, electric cat feeder plus current wet & dry food.

Please note: Oggy & Nova were originally adopted out by Moggies Cat Rescue to the current owners who have now asked for our assistance in rehoming them. Requests for "Meet &Greet" are directly with the owner but Moggies Cat Rescue will be supervising the adoption process.

Adoption details
Moggies Cat Rescue believes in Meet & Greets before choosing a furever friend.The cat or kitten you have your eye on might not be the one you take home! We believe all cats are unique and choose their new families!
You must have a suitable cat carrier and your ID to adopt.
Once you have bonded with your new pal and choose to adopt them into your family, there will be adoption agreement to be read and signed.
All new purrents will be given a cat care booklet and all the relevant vet paperwork for your new fuurbaby.

All cats and kittens available and adopted from Moggies Cat Rescue are indoor only. We encourage fully secure enclosures to be used if available.
If you are Pre-adopting a kitten you must pay a $50 non-refundable deposit and pay the remaining adoption amount before pick-up.
Our adoption fees are at a low cost and at a fraction of the price of the average vet work compelted/everyday expense per cat/kitten. Adoption fees must be paid on or before pick up. Most adoption fees include vaccination, microchip, flea and worm treatment and Free desexing. Adult cats come desexed. Segments of the adoption fees cannot be refunded if you choose to desex your kitten at a vet other than the vets associated with Moggies.
All adoptions come with a 2 week trial period after signing the contract, if after two weeks you find that your new furrfriend and yourself do not suit, please contact us. Please contact us if you require any more information or if you have any problems whatsoever with your new furr family member.
