About Archie
All About Me and My Unique Personality:
I'm a barker, bark at passers by, leaves blowing in the wind, birds visiting the garden.
I have a cough which is related to my small breed, not kennel cough, just a restricted trachea, not on any current medication.
Whilst I will interact with other dogs in the home I tend to keep myself to myself.
Spends the night in a doggy bed in the lounge room whilst the other three join foster Mum and Dad in bed although has spent a few nights on a bed on the floor in our bedroom.
Absolutely loves treats and will beg for thousands and thousands, but don't listen to my foster Dad who insists on me being restricted to just one or two a day .... he's an idiot lol
Archie came very close to being a foster fail ...... that means his foster family adopted him instead of putting him up for adoption on this site ..... but we need to make room to house more fosters and Archie is a prime candidate to bring joy and love to his new parent(s).
We're expecting lots of applications for him so please be patient.
My Ideal Home:
An elderly couple/single seeking a furbaby to love and share times together.
Secure backyard to explore but mainly an inside dog.
What is Known About My Background:
Came into care from Orange RSPCA, major dental procedure completed, 1 tooth left so needs kibble soaked for dinner time along with some wet food for taste.
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets:
Tends to keep himself to himself but will play occasionally
Adoption details

HAR uses the details in this form to select the most appropriate family for our animals. This form allows us to get to know you, your home, your family, lifestyle and level of experience with pets.
Adoptions are NOT approved on a first come first served basis. The adoption process can be lengthy by the time we process all expressions of interest.
HAR Adoption Process
1- Carer will assess and arrange a meet and greet with suitable applicants.
2- If the meet and greet is successful, a yard/home inspection is conducted.
3- If your yard/home passes inspection, the adoption fee is paid, paperwork completed and a 2 week trial period is arranged.
4- On successful completion of the trial period HAR will submit paperwork to Local Council for processing.
Adoption fee includes:- mandatory de-sexing, microchip, vaccination, vet check, flea and worm treatment.
Please understand that by filling in this form, it by no means guarantees that you will be successful in the adoption process, nor does it obligate you to adopt.
