About Angus
Angus is looking for the following in his new home.
- An energetic family.
- A larger yard with secure fencing.
- Continued training to help teach Axel not to nip and jump.
- No young children.
- A family that understands the Husky breed.
- To be on a lead when out of the yard.
Angus is looking for a new family to call his own.
Angus is a very happy, energetic boy who loves going for a run, walk and enjoys the occasional crazy zoomie session. When excited he can be quite vocal, particularly at walkies and dinner times, but he soon settles and isn’t a dog that will be noisy for no reason.
When excited he can get jumpy and a bit mouthy, so these are behaviours his new owner will need to work on. For these reasons and due to his high energy, he would need to go to a family where any children are older and are experienced with larger dogs and Husky antics.
Angus has lived with other dogs, cats and rabbits and so far has no issues around any of them. He would be suitable in a home either on his own or with a calm, tolerant dog of similar size. He is quite content to hang out on his own, and doesn’t mind if his people are not around.
The usual Husky breed traits apply with regard to requiring high fences that also need to be very strong and secure. Typical for the Husky breed He is quite independent-minded and has a very strong hunting instinct, so walks must always be on lead and under firm control. Angus has just started lead walk training and can be quite a puller but seems to learn quite quickly. His new owner will need to
continue working on his obedience training and reinforcing good manners.
If you have room in your home and heart for a lovable Husky cross boy, please apply!
*PLEASE read the ‘profile’ thoroughly before enquiring in detail.*

Adoption details
Please note- we do not work on a first in best dressed basis, we assess all applications to choose the home that we believe will best match the animal.
If you believe one of our animals would be a good match for your home please send us a detailed email us with some information about the people and any other animals in your home as well as the type of lifestyle you can offer a new rescue pet.
We are volunteerswho run the rescue around families, paid employment and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require you to travel to meet the animal you are looking to adopt. For dog adoptions, any other dogs in your home musr attend the meet and greet, this enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
We reserve the right to refuse the adoption if we don't believe it's a good match for our animals.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care or we will assist you in finding them a suitable new home, this is a condition thst you agree to when signing our Adoption Agreement.
