About Casper
Casper is characterized by his outgoing and confident nature. He is always eager to explore new surroundings and meet new people. With his friendly disposition, Casper would be the perfect companion for an active and social household.
One of Casper's favorite activities is indulging in a good sprint. Despite his usual laid-back demeanor, when given the opportunity, this athletic pup can go from couch potato to speed racer in no time. He would greatly benefit from a home with a fenced backyard or a safe place where he can stretch his long legs and enjoy regular exercise.
However, Casper does have one small requirement when it comes to his new home: no cats or small animals. Due to his instinctual prey drive.
On the bright side, Casper would thrive in a home with another dog of similar size. Having a companion to share his love for playtime and relaxation would greatly enrich his life. Whether it's going for long walks or enjoying a cozy nap together, Casper would love to have a best friend by his side.
In terms of daily routine, Casper is a low-maintenance dog. He adapts well to a laid-back lifestyle and is content spending most of his time relaxing. Casper will most likely occupy his favorite spot on the couch while you watch TV or read a book, providing you with unwavering companionship.
If you are looking for a loyal and affectionate companion who will appreciate the simple joys of life, Casper is the perfect match for you. With his outgoing personality and love for a good sprint, he will bring joy and laughter to your home. Get ready to embark on exciting adventures and create lasting memories with this remarkable ex-racing Greyhound.

We ask for a one-month "foster to adopt" period, giving us all time to ensure that this greyhound can adapt to your home. When adopting a greyhound from RSPCA Tasmania, you will receive a special orange collar, which has your dog's unique number on it. Please make sure your grey wears that collar when visiting a special greyhound off-leash area, located in Kingsborough and Launceston, or just out and about for a walk.
